Every batch is roasted on our 12kg drum roaster by the same two roasters who opened Hearthside in 2020.

We roast twice a week in 12kg batches, logging and cupping every single one - adjusting the profile batch to batch rather than running it on autopilot. Beans ship within 48 hours of roasting, so what lands on your doorstep is never more than a few days old.

We buy direct or through long-term importer relationships from farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala and Kenya, and print the roast date on every single bag - no vague "best before" window standing in for freshness.
